Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie
Kiwi is a fruit that I have introduced more into my diet. I love its beautiful green color and exotic taste, not to mention its richness in vitamin C. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant, scavenging free radicals in your body to help prevent disease.
2 cups of raw almond mylk
1 and ½ cups of organic frozen strawberries
A handful of organic spinach
2 kiwis peeled
4-5 soft Medjool dates, organic and pitted
1 ripe organic banana
Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender for 2-3 minutes or until smooth. You could also use a frozen banana with some frozen strawberries but not all. This ensures a cold smoothie instead of using ice. If the smoothie is too thick just add a little water. Serves 2-3.
